Honda has officially launched the Honda Shine 2025 model in India with fresh updates, modern features, and improved efficiency. The new Shine is now OBD2B compliant and available in both Shine 100 and Shine 125 variants. With new graphics, digital technology, and refined engines, Honda continues to focus on comfort, reliability, and fuel economy for daily commuters.

Design and Look

The Honda Shine 2025 gets a refreshed design with new body graphics, stylish color combinations, and a more premium finish. The Shine 125 now comes with new paint schemes and chrome detailing, giving it a more attractive appeal. The Shine 100 also receives new decals, black alloy wheels, and aluminum grab rail, enhancing its modern look while retaining a simple commuter style.

Engine and Performance

The Honda Shine 125 continues to use the proven 123.94cc single-cylinder PGM-Fi engine, which delivers 10.6PS power and 11Nm torque. It meets the latest OBD2B emission standards and comes with Honda’s Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology for smooth performance and better fuel efficiency.

The Shine 100 variant is powered by a 98.98cc air-cooled engine, producing 7.28bhp power and 8.04Nm torque. It also complies with the new emission norms and provides excellent mileage, making it one of the most fuel-efficient commuter bikes in its category.

Features and Technology

One of the biggest updates in the Honda Shine 125 2025 is the addition of a fully digital instrument cluster. The new display shows real-time mileage, distance-to-empty, gear position indicator, service reminder, and Eco mode. The bike also includes a USB Type-C charging port, wider rear tyre, and idling stop system (ISS) that helps save fuel during traffic stops.

Meanwhile, the Honda Shine 100 continues with simple yet practical features like CBS (Combi-Brake System), long single seat, telescopic front suspension, and twin rear shocks. Honda has also improved comfort for riders with an updated seat cushion and refined ergonomics.

Mileage and Comfort

Both the Shine 125 and Shine 100 models are built for comfort and long rides. The seat height, suspension setup, and lightweight frame make them ideal for city commuting. The new engine tuning improves fuel economy, with the Shine 125 offering mileage around 60–65 km/l, while the Shine 100 delivers up to 70 km/l, depending on riding conditions.

Price and Variants (Ex-Showroom Delhi)

The Honda Shine 125 Drum variant is priced at ₹84,493, while the Disc variant costs ₹89,245. The Honda Shine 100 is priced at ₹68,767. Both models are available in multiple colors such as Black with Red, Decent Blue Metallic, Grey, and Matte Axis Silver.

Conclusion

The Honda Shine 2025 offers a perfect blend of performance, technology, and comfort. With the new digital console, updated design, and fuel-efficient engines, it stands out as one of the best commuter bikes in India. The Shine 100 is ideal for budget-conscious buyers, while the Shine 125 suits those looking for extra power and features.
